I guide individuals who have decided to replace “What should I do?” with “What do I wish to create?” to unfold their inner potential and live their choices from that deep level where the mind aligns with the heart ; to learn to self-lead in a healthy and balanced way.
This is a 3-stages transformational process. It involves taking a deeper look at your life foundation , rediscovering your innate qualities and capacities and re-evaluating what is important for you when you make choices, pro-actively engaging to create a meaningful life.
Stage 1: Identify who you think you are
Luigi Pirandello (1867-1936), a significant Italian dramatist wrote “Inevitably we construct ourselves. Let me explain. I enter this house and immediately I become what I have to become, what I can become: I construct myself. That is, I present myself to you in a form suitable to the relationship I wish to achieve with you. And, of course, you do the same with me” to describe how our need to be likable and acceptable makes us deliberately inauthentic. However, this is the tip of the iceberg , as our relationship with ourselves can also be inauthentic in the sense that our worldview is constructed and does not reflect our inner truth. On the contrary, it is the outer constructed reality that imposes itself on our essence and shapes its expression outwards. A concept that has been widely researched and describes the above is mindset. A mindset encompasses the core beliefs and values we hold about ourselves, others, and life in general and, through which we interpret our reality and determine our action.
This first stage in this process of transformation entails deciphering your mindset and the sense of identity, goals and vision that come through it. Our objective has been achieved when you can answer honestly the following question about your life : Who is in my driver’s seat: fear? societal expectations? collective conditioning?
Stage 2: Unfold who you really are
Elie Wiesel (1928-2016) a Jewish Holocaust survivor wrote “The good news is that the moment you decide that what you know is more important than what you have been taught to believe, you will have shifted gears in your quest for abundance. Success comes from within, not from without.”
It is at this moment of inner knowing, when you become pro-active and take personal responsibility for determining your life, that the second stage begins. Only then you find the courage to seek a new, broader perspective that will enable you to feel closer to your own essence; to your inner compass. Together, with the aid of a number of tools and methods, we initiate a process of developing a conscious awareness through re-focusing, individual strengthening and discerning. This will lead you to re-evaluate what is important to you in your choices, relationships and the goals you prioritize in your future. Our objective has been accomplished when you are empowered; when you feel that you are your own master and you are able to give form to your life from your own inner strength.
Stage 3: Live meaningfully your purpose
Steve Jobs, (1955-2011), the co-founder and CEO of APPLE said “You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life”. He was a living proof of how anchoring the acquired knowledge and wisdom of the past in the present and nurturing it with trust in the potentiality of the future is the way to create a brilliant outcome.
Being aware of who I really am and trusting the flow of life are the key components of this third stage of the transformational process where I choose to live life in the awareness of new possibilities that haven’t manifested yet and I choose to act out of joy and a sense of abundance and not out of fear and scarcity.
In this stage, the inner work you accomplished in the previous two stages manifests itself into your life as your conscious intention: You decide to be your own captain and build strength in your inner directed personal power. Now you are ready to discover your true life purpose, determine your self- transcendent vision, formulate your mission and pass to action. You are ready to set off free of the restrictions of your past and open to the brilliant potentialities of your future. Now, you can start creating with confidence!
