We conducted two successful workshops in Amsterdam.
The first workshop Being-centered Leadership: Leading from the heart at work aimed at providing professionals with the clarity needed to improve their personal mastery at work.
The second workshop Personal Vision & Mission: Your Compass in a Time of Constant Change attracted professionals who are seeking for more meaning in life and work and guided them to clarify their vision and increase their self-leadership skills.

Participation in the ILA conference in West Palm Beach, FL, USA
This year’s theme was “Authentic Leadership for Progress, Peace & Prosperity”. I very much enjoyed the rich and versatile exchange on leadership with thought-leaders, scholars and practitioners. My involvement was threefold:
A. I presented my research on the session “Developing Ethical and Authentic Leadership” with Emilio Iodice, Christina Wildermuth, Martinella Dryburgh and Rebecca Oldham. In my presentation titled "Spirituality: The missing Link between Talking the Walk and Walking the Walk ?” I explored how spirituality creates the authentic foundation required for ethical decision-making at the individual, organizational and societal level.
b. I contributed in a panel discussion on "Promoting the Sustainable Development Goals for Progress, Peace and Prosperity” with Janis Balda, Richard Little and Jessica Rae Ullman. The discussion explored how the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are being met by organizations, businesses, and individuals who are seeking progress, peace, and prosperity while recognizing the finite resources of our planet. I elaborated on how FairTrade advances (or not) the SDGs.
c. With a member of our Being-centered Leadership Team, Professor Jody Fry, we delivered a workshop on "Global Leader and Leadership Development for Sustainability" -at the core of which is the cultivation of a global mindset for the individual leader and the integration of two ethical dimensions in the organizational strategy: acceptance of remote responsibility and stakeholder legitimacy from a moral point of view
We also connected and strategized on how to expand the reach of our Sustainability Leadership Learning Community (SLLC) and enhance greater awareness in related issues. Please join us if you are interested in the topic.

We organized a one day professional workshop on self-leadership. Its title was Being-centered Leadership: Finding the Space to Lead.
The workshop was addressed to individuals who felt the need to explore their self- leadership from a deeper level, aligned with their core values and inner essence. At the end of the day, we all - facilitators and participants- felt that we did achieve to find the space to lead! Thank you all for being there!
