My research asks how the assumptions we hold shape the way we lead our lives, organisations and societies — with a focus on female leadership and entrepreneurship, leadership for sustainability and spiritual leadership. It is also the foundation of my advisory work: the frameworks I use with founders, boards and networks come from here.

Leading Across the Worldviews That Divide Us Reimagining Leadership and the Power to Shape What Comes Next
with Prof. Louis W. (Jody) Fry, Texas A&M University–Central Texas
Today’s defining leadership challenges cross the boundaries of organisations, sectors, jurisdictions, and communities. Climate disruption, public health, migration, technological change, institutional mistrust, and inequality cannot be solved by any single executive, agency, company, or profession. They call for leaders who can create coordinated action among people with different responsibilities, knowledge, constituencies, and sources of authority.
Yet collaboration often stalls even when the right people are in the room. The real obstacle is that capable people look at the same situation and see different realities.
Our book shows leaders how to turn clashing worldviews from a source of gridlock into the capacity to act together, even when no one controls the whole system.
