Jacky’s Team earned the Sustainability Award! Celebrate the success!

After a 10-week journey full of insightful workshops, inspiring community events, empowering meetings with mentors, probably some late-night work sessions and most importantly a lot of stepping out of our comfort zone; all 13 SPARK teams pitched their idea in 4 minutes and did their best to convince the jury of experts that they deserve 1 of the 3 contested awards: SUSTAINABILITY, SOCIAL IMPACT and SCALABILITY. The 4 members of Jacky’s team delivered an excellent pitch. Their idea was to create a vegan fast food chain replacing meat with jackfruit. It was an exciting moment when the presenter announced they had earned the Social Impact Award! Very fulfilling to see their faces light up and realising their potential as change agents.
